    Paul Hosking

Hi! I’m a London based, web consultant with significant experience of large scale web projects. I’m currently working for The Foreign and Commonwealth Office .

My recent successes include technically managing the creation and launch of the incredibly successful London Summit Website. Before that I managed the transition workstream for the FCOWeb project. This included the migration and launch of 232 globally distributed websites in what was a frantic 12 weeks!

I have extensive experience in requirements gathering, defining functionality, website migration and user testing of large scale WCMS implementations.

I have been an IT professional for 15 years working on a huge variety of platforms and infrastructure from the good old days of token ring networks and programming phone switches, to managing trading floors and building networks. I started working on developing websites and web projects over 7 years ago and although I still maintain a technical lean, in recent years I have moved into project management and implementation of web environments.

I have worked for many large organisations including ExxonMobil, Maersk and DLJ.

When I’m not tinkering with websites I’m playing cricket, watching football or being a ski bum.
