Heather Hampson

I currently work in the Interactive Services team at the Central Office of Information, managing digital projects all over government. Previous to this I was senior editor on the Foreign Office web team. I’m more of an editor than a techy (I originally trained as a journalist).
I’d describe myself as a frustrated novelist turned digital engager.

I’m really passionate about the web and the way it can contribute to real changes in the world…I’m holding out for the first web-triggered political revolution! I like to talk about things like this with like minded web folk in the NUJ’s new media wing (http://www.nujnewmedia.org.uk/) – I’d definitely recommend it!
